The early months of 2015 saw us working alongside Magis – a leading Italian company in the designer furniture sector – on the multilingual translation of their new corporate website.

What is it about?

A responsive website, with a totally restyled graphic design, following the trend for ever greater accessibility of content. Magis now boasts a wide and comprehensive platform, an expanded product section and a section dedicated to the biographies of the many designers who work with the company.

How was the translation work organized?

All the texts were translated into four languages: English, French, German and Spanish. An immense task that required the use of  differentiated and specific linguistic skills: from the more technical language of product-related texts to the descriptive language of the biographies, through to the specificities typical of literary reviews for the texts concerning the “Magis way” and editorial catalogues.

To sum up:

Considering the huge volumes involved, the translation of the Magis website was an endeavor that lasted months and a source of great satisfaction for us, also and above all due to the excellent synergy and co-ordination with the company, which made it possible to achieve an excellent result.
